List of Supplies:

- Colored craft papers
- White or off white art paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Craft glue
Instructions:
Step -1:
Select different colored craft papers to trace circles to create the scalloped pattern. I’m using different shades of pink, red and purple. Determine a size for the circles of the scallop and trace it on any paper. Cut out that circle to use it as a template and cut as many circles as you need for this craft. Prepare a square from an ordinary paper for the background. The size of the paper will be the size of the art.
Step -2:
Start to glue the circle shapes along the bottom side of the square paper. Glue the circles side by side, each adjacent to the next.
Step – 3:
Once you are done gluing the bottom layer of circles, grab more circles for the next layer. Overlap the first layer with the second layer by half and between 2 circles of the previous layer.
Step – 4:
Continue to glue the circles and to fill the layers until the square paper is filled with circles.
Step – 5:
You can draw a free hand heart or download a heart template and simply trace it. Prepare another piece of square paper, same size as the background square paper. Trace the heart pattern on this paper and cut out the heart from the paper by keeping the rest of the paper intact.
Step – 6:
Apply glue on any one sides of the inverted heart cut-out paper and place the glued side on the scalloped paper.
Step – 7:
If required, trim the 4 sides of the scalloped heart art/craft piece.
